The Story of Gaelbhratach at CBS Primary School

Thanks to Ms Coggans we are now official members of the Gaelbhratach scheme. The Gaelbhratach scheme is an initiative designed to promote the use of the Irish language in schools, encouraging a vibrant Irish-speaking community within the educational environment.

Achieving the Gaelbhratach flag is a visible recognition of our commitment to preserving and celebrating Irish culture and heritage, inspiring pride within the CBS Primary School community. It also cultivates valuable linguistic skills in pupils, contributing to their cognitive development and fostering a connection to our history and traditions.

This is our Coiste Gaelbhratach, members consist of pupils who feel passionate about developing a culture where a love of our language grows.
